New Brew – India Pale Ale

Black Creek Historic Brewery is thrilled to announce our first historical brew of the season is now available at Black Creek Historic Brewery located in Black Creek Pioneer Village.  One of Ed’s signature recipes, the India Pale Ale features a bold hit of hops paired with a crisp pale malt flavour.

A common belief is that the beer style we call India Pale Ale was created by English brewers trying to brew a beer capable of travelling all the way to India without spoiling.   Over on his blog Zythophile, Martyn Cornell disputes this story quite adeptly, it’s worth a read!

Growlers of our IPA are available on-site at Black Creek Pioneer Village exclusively until stock runs out!
